The Fast Judge

Are you a good judge of character?

I’m a good judge of character only when I let my gut feeling guide my judging hand.

When you meet someone new, the first ten seconds are your only shot at being a good judge of character.

Anything past that mark, and you stumble into the make belief territory, where people justify their actions by any number of self-delusions.

Doesn’t really matter how much you’re willing to lie to yourself by saying you had to go through with that job interview, even though you had a gut feeling they didn’t like you.

Doesn’t matter that you say you had to make nice with people your own body told you to run away from or at least give a wide berth.

I’m of the firm opinion that in the end only the fast judges of character will remain standing.

All the slow drawers will be on the ground.
