Life is life

Life is like a roll of toilet paper. Life is also just life. What you do with your toilet paper is between you and your Maker.

Suffering

Do you need a break? From what? We all need a break from suffering.

On Entitlement

Entitlement is the Road to Perdition. Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad. Problem: A fool and his rights are soon parted. One man's loss is the other man's gain. Solution: Jefferson.

You Will Own Nothing and You Will Be Happy

The World is Irony. First, they tell you to get rich. Right?! Then, you do. It’s hard, takes everything you go, but you do it. Right?! Then, they tell you to stop being so goddamn materialistic. Crazy, right?! Right?! And when you ask why, they tell you it’s for the sake of the planet. But do not fret, they tell you. Confronting Mortality

Life and Death are Given. Life is meant to be short. Giving life is our duty and privilege. We honour our Dead Parents by moving on. Mortii cu mortii, vii cu vii! Let the dead bury the dead, and let the living be with the living! This is the Meaning of Life.

The boy must have been no older than 9 or 10. His father was a distinguished … Continue reading On Lemons and Lemonade

I freaking miss Canada

Funny thing happened to me today. As I was strolling at a brisk pace between two landmarks in the city of my birth, Bucharest, I realized that I missed my country of adoption. As I gazed at the people’s faces, I suddenly had this overwhelming urge to take flight, and flash back to good ole … Continue reading I freaking miss Canada
