War is uncertainty. Gold is a refuge, a safe haven from uncertainty. People work hard for their livelihoods. Wars come and all their savings vanish into thin air... or the pockets of speculators and war profiteers. Gold is your friend, my friends. But you have to watch that ticker. Buy low, and do not sell.

A Not So Civil War
Wars are violent manifestations. Civil wars are a misnomer in that they are not civil. In fact they are everything but civil. America is headed down that way. Perhaps the world will too. Killing someone for having an opinion is telling all the moderates that the time for talk is over. Guess what happens next?
On Epiphanies
The world is at war. World War 3 has already started and it is threatening our way of life. Ukraine, Israel, Russia, Iran, Gaza, America, Europe, China, India, Pakistan, Taiwan, are all connected. Millions of people are already dead. Hundreds of millions more will be lost to nuclear strikes if we do not wake up and speak up against the madness.
Montesquieu was Right
Change doesn’t happen in a vacuum. No one changes their ways just for the heck of it. But if one must change, they’d better do it for the right reasons. Being neutral is a safer bet than adhering to any military alliance. Nobody owes anyone anything. Protection doesn’t come gratis. And sometimes the price is your own existence.
The Butterfly Effect Strikes Again
1 in 5 American servicemen is obese. No wonder you can't have a conventional firefight anymore and you have to use ICBMs to fight a war. In Romanian we have a saying “Unde dai si unde crapa!” In short, the law of unintended consequences strikes again.
Romania at the Crossroads of History
The Romanian people have spoken: we want peace and we want to live free and with dignity in our country. World leaders should pay attention to vox populi. It is the only voice worthy of listening to.
De Urbis et Rusticus
Nothing lasts forever. All life has a beginning and an end. We used to be nomads pitching our troglodyte tents everywhere we went. We invented agriculture, settled down, built cities. Waged wars that burned cities down. There are no guarantees that won’t happen again. Not with nuclear weapons. If you want to survive you need to go back to basics. Or not! Your call!
Hamas’ Gunpowder Plot
Peace is a fragile thing. War is the natural state of Man. Conflict is what we do best. Just look at our weapons. Much more advanced than our buildings, right?! If peace is to be achieved, compromise must be sought. It requires burying the hatchet, and preferably not in your opponents’ headpiece. But that can only work if rational people sit down and choose to work things out calmly. Violence only begets violence. If the endgame is peace, violence must be abjured.
The Forever War
The world is at war. And we are all caught in it without even realizing. We are ignoring the evidence with the tenacity of the Ostridge. We are unfit to lick the boots of our ancestors who lived and fought to secure a better life for their children. We are unworthy of Freedom.
What would happen if there was a global nuclear war?
Afraid of nuclear war? Don't worry. If you are a city dweller, most likely you won't feel a thing. For the rest of you, tough luck though. But if you care more about the human race, like I do, chances are this monumental blood letting will only set us back a couple hundred years, tops. After which I am sure we will contrive to do it again. Because we are champions in shooting ourselves in the foot. But our survival as a species is not in question. Our civilization as we know it today however is.
