If peace is to be achieved, compromise must be sought. It requires burying the hatchet, and preferably not in your opponents’ headpiece. But that can only work if rational people sit down and choose to work things out calmly. Violence only begets violence. If the endgame is peace, violence must be abjured.

What would happen if there was a global nuclear war?
Afraid of nuclear war? Don't worry. If you are a city dweller, most likely you won't feel a thing. For the rest of you, tough luck though. But if you care more about the human race, like I do, chances are this monumental blood letting will only set us back a couple hundred years, tops. After which I am sure we will contrive to do it again. Because we are champions in shooting ourselves in the foot. But our survival as a species is not in question. Our civilization as we know it today however is.
