To Care or Not to Care – that is the Question now

Caring is not optional. We are born to care. And we die when we stop caring.

The Pesky Eyes of the Beholder

Daily writing promptWhat are you good at?View all responses Such a charged question, eh. What are you good at? Depends, as always, on who you ask. If you asked my uncle the question 25 years ago, he'd tell you that his nephew was going to amount to nothing. If you asked my dear departed mama, … Continue reading The Pesky Eyes of the Beholder

No Pain No Gain

When is the last time you took a risk? How did it work out? Peter L. Bernstein wrote a series of books dealing with market forces, capitalism, and the value of dealing and trusting gold. Abyssus abyssum invocat

Evil begets evil. Nowadays, morality is no longer a constraining factor. In a sea of amoral change, progressivism has become the rallying cry of the Marxist globalists. Not sure I remember who it was that first graced me with this compliment/disguised aspersion on my character. But I can honestly say that there were … Continue reading On Being Relentless

Shop until you drop

Daily writing promptWhere would you go on a shopping spree?View all responses I am personally partial to shopping at Costco. That is when it comes to shopping at a mom and pop brick and mortar old fashioned shoppe. Irony, eh! As for my online needs that must be quenched in the heat of battle, so … Continue reading Shop until you drop

A cowardly future

The Future belongs to the unfittest. Man up or this race to the bottom will end us. Enough said.

Why Yellowstone is Pure Balm for the Soul

Life happens here and now. Heaven and Hell are not out of this realm – they are here with us from day one. To find solace is to accept we are alone. Make peace with Truth and you will be peaceful.
