Immorality: definition – evil, sinful, wrong behavior. That which is unpardonable. A state avoided by good people.
Amorality: definition – state or quality of being amoral. Lack of concern with whether something is right or wrong.
The State punishes the wicked who transgress society’s legal compact. Government seeks out and roots out all those lawbreakers who consider themselves above the law. It castigates all those who break the established norms.
But what happens when the State itself, meaning the established government, its officials elected or not, break the rules, ignore the law, and disregard the social contract?!
Does anyone ever hold the State liable for its crimes?! I don’t think so. I don’t think the State has ever even been indicted, let alone found guilty by the courts for its many transgressions.
The State steals and calls it redistribution of value.
The Government dispossesses people with a stroke of a pen and calls it social justice.
Officials break the law, kill, maim, conspire to betray the nation, defraud its citizens and rip out its social fabric, and nothing happens to them. Nada. Zero. Zit.
Ordinary citizens have lost it all on a suspicion of a crime amounting to a fraction of a thousandth of a percent of what can be laid at the feet of the State. Not once, not sometimes, but all the time.
Regular folks have been legally persecuted by the government for stealing a few bucks to nourish their kids while the State steals our collective future with impunity. Forever.
We look around us and all we see is how the government makes everybody’s lives harder, more difficult to cope with. They steal our labour and call it taxation with representation. But ignore our electoral choices every time they can. They take and take and take and tell us it’s for the common weal.
What common good is that? The money, aka our labour, our lives spent toiling, is gone in the blink of an eye, via inflation, via misappropriation. Gone to feed the forever wars opposing the same thieving leaders who pretend to work for us, when in reality they’re all thieves and crooks and conmen and conwomen too.
The immorality is flagrant. It’s everywhere. At every level, all the time. All governments steal. It seems to me they don’t stand competition from the little man. That’s why they prosecute the small criminally inclined entrepreneurs. They can’t tolerate anyone poaching in their preserve: public money.
Rules of thee not for me.

The rules are meant for the citizenry. They are not meant for the State. And the State knows it. After all, everyone is equal before the Law… except for the State itself. They are the Law. And they will ask the questions.
