Describe a positive thing a family member has done for you.
That is the only thing my mama got me.
And it’s the only one that counts.
Nothing else matters.
Literally. Nothing else matters.
I am grateful, Mother.
As for my family, my grandma gave the modicum of manners I possess… or don’t. Depending on who you ask.
My grandpa gave the thirst for knowledge, that Jewish sense of avidity and cupidity for knowing stuff that makes Jews smart people.
Funny thing: I don’t have one drop of Jewish blood coursing through my veins.
As for the rest of my kin, they didn’t get me nothing. Ah, except for a sense of making them pay for all the stuff they said about me, did to me, and keep on trying to do to me.
So, I guess, it’s up to me to get them something, eh.
Hell yeah, and that’s because I am the gift that keeps on giving.

At least you get to be the gift that keeps on giving. Maybe you should start a subscription service for your presence—premium family entertainment, right? 😄
