Short answer: I lived.

The Romans said it best: vixerunt.
This single word expresses everything that counts in the world.
It brings meaning to all our lives, now and then, and perhaps for as long as there’ll be people.
If you live your life on pause or if you think that inaction is better than un-reflected action, think again. All matter moves in the universe, so why should you engage in a holding pattern.
What are you waiting for? A sign from God telling you it’s ok to move on, go forward, see the world, work, love, have fun, cry, experience loss, have fun again, work hard, enjoy or hate life?
You won’t get God or the Cosmos to tell you anything. Nobody will ever move you in the right or wrong direction without your say so. So, what are you waiting for then? The Holy Trinity? Don’t bother. They will only sanction those who help themselves anyhow.
So go out and live your life to the fullest, with the good and bad. And yeah, you might as well enjoy that tripe soup your wife or husband fixed for you, while you can, because life is still solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short no matter what you do. But do not let that thought stand between you and the gym after you’ve had that fat ciorba. You will thank me later.
Ah, and btw, that Latin word translates into two in English.
They lived.
