The Trap of a Wandering Mind

Question

Can a Wandering Mind turn one into a Neurotic?

Answer

Not sure. But spending too much time in your own head cannot be too good.

Case in point

For me, becoming physically active wasn’t just a shift towards staying fit and working out.

No. For me, it was a transformative process.

It might have started as a steady, constant adaptation to a new mindset whereby being active gradually increased over time until at some point in the recent past it took over my life and made me into the man I am now.

So, yeah when I started being more out there, living my life with a newly found purpose, I stopped living inside my head all the time. It meant I gave up on reading until the short morning hours and eating all the time to make up for the lost sleep. It also meant I stopped short of neurosis, turned my mental health around, and laid a new foundation for the New Man.

Healthy living changes you. Anyone can do it. But they have to change their ways. And that is always difficult.
