I used to be a huge fan of lists. Still am. But I now believe that Life should not be ruled by Itemized Lists.
That being said, there are a bunch of flicks out there that make one doubt the value of the written word. Their cinematography, their music score is just out of this world.

For as a rule of thumb, books beat movies any time of day. Here are some notable exceptions to this golden rule.
- The Bounty (1984)
- The Agony and the Ecstasy (1965)
- Dune: Part 1 (2021) & Part 2 (2024)
- The Foundation (2021)
- The Sicilian Clan (1969)
- The Network (1976)
- A Man for All Seasons (1966)
- The Night of the Generals (1967)
- Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964)
- Becket (1964)
I feel horrible for pulling The Good, the bad and the ugly (1966) from the list but I stand by my decision.

nice list … Dr. Strangelove! Classic!
