Self-awareness

How would you improve your community?

You want to improve your community?

Engage with it and make it self-aware.

That means helping those around you understand that salvation doesn’t come from above, God or government.

It comes from within the souls of the people around you, who see you, with all your failings and merits, for what you truly are.

Salvation is at hand, brother and sisters, but it doesn’t require prayer alone. It requires action and that’s the only way to make one worthy of the life our Creator bestowed upon us at our birth.

You want to help, just do it. Help those who cannot help themselves. Start small and go big.

Don’t wait for others to pick up humanity from the dirt and mend it. You do it. And don’t expect, oh brother, do not expect recognition for your troubles.

Remember what they did to Christ, and He’s the Son of our Lord.

Your salvation is not imminent. It awaits you at the end of a long and beastly road.

Justice is not of this world either.

If life is suffering, then we must all suffer, but your good work will make the pain less for others.

As for you, fellow traveler, pain is your only friend.

Atone for your sins through good deeds and perhaps one day you’ll be pain-free.
