Fortunate

How would you describe yourself to someone?

I was born in a poor noble family that gave me two reasons to succeed in life.

Firstly, poverty was imposed on us by Communism since Bolsheviks took away our family’s assets.

Secondly, nobility they couldn’t rob it away from us since that is a state of mind more than a piece of paper or a title.

These two circumstances gave me the will to improve my lot in life while instilling in me a profound hatred of Marxism.

I am a self made mad man who doesn’t take no for an answer but who also started to accept things as they come, which is not a good thing to do. Since it smacks of fatalism and that is the killer of enterprise.

Age tends to get us all. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

When I look around me and discover so many beautiful, intriguing things, I ask myself this:

Palazzo Vecchio Firenze

What have I achieved in my life so far that I can bequeath my daughter?

Because in the end that’s all that matters.

When all is said and done, what will your legacy be?

I would consider myself fortunate if God allowed me to achieve this goal of leaving my daughter a legacy she can be proud of so that when I am gone, her children, my grandchildren will carry my name with pride and fortitude into the future I’ll never see but which I helped create.
