Yes, I do practice it but not religiously. Hahahaha! You know how much I enjoy a pun, eh.
But in all seriousness, I am not a church-going man.
I do believe in a higher power. I believe that everything is fixed, and we cannot change it.
I know that the Creator of the Universe is God. And that God is everything. God is the underlying Principle that holds together the monumental scaffold of the Cosmos.
I believe in God the Creator and Destroyer of Myriad Worlds. I believe in God as I believe in Time and Space. I believe that God is the Answer to the Fundamental Questions.
Who are we? Where do we come from? Why are we here? What is our purpose? What is our meaning? Why can we not know it all?
God explains everything that our Science cannot or won’t explain.
And no, Organized Religion is not the answer. Organized Religion has killed more people than anything else on the planet. Morality and Religion are incongruent. Morality and Faith are.
Faith and Science work very well together. But only if our Mind is disciplined and rigorous.
A great French politico once had this to say about the difference between France, England, and the United States of America.
England has two sauces and 300 religions; France two religions and 300 sauces. As for the United States, the country has thirty-two religions and only one sauce.
