It makes women fall in love and lower their drawbridge for their knight in shining armour.
It advances the human race by kickstarting the multiplication process so sought by people.
It determines the winners of political races.
It elects business leaders.
It makes people bold.
It speciates. It separates those who take chances from those who won’t.
Confidence goes hand in hand with change.
And because of that it is responsible for some of humanity’s greatest breakthroughs… and to blame for some of its worst outcomes.
For not everything new is good and not everything old is bad.
The most confident person you know is someone who’s reached higher than yourself… but who is yet to reach rock bottom.
Confidence is a sword with two edges.
Going up is mighty fine. Once you reach the point, watch out.
Beware you don’t cut yourself on the slope down.
