A shaving horse is a wood working bench used by bowyers to make a wood stave into a longbow.
Or better said, to make a length of wood into a longbow.
I like longbows. I don’t know why. Perhaps it has something to do with my sign. I’ll let you figure that puzzle out on your own. But I don’t know.
There’s something about making a piece of wood into a longbow and another into arrows that uplifts my soul.
Transforming wood on Vangelis’ songs is cathartic.
