If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?
If you think long and hard about this, you realize this is a difficult question.
Which word carries such a positively nefarious meaning that would justify its being banned?
Now perhaps I’m not the best person to answer this question. Because you see, folks, I’m a free speech absolutist.
I believe, heart and soul, in the free exercise of speech.
Freedom starts in your mind and is expressed freely, with all its consequences, by the individual.
All those who argue for the limitation of free speech, its confinement, its abridgement, they want to take away your freedom.
What are you going to do about this?
The choice is easy. You fight back.
So, if I had to ban a word it would be the word “ban” and all its variations.
