Who can save Ukraine?

I was on my YouTube app today and History Legends came up with his interesting poll.

This gentleman was asking people what they thought UKR could do to win the war in 2024.

“Oh pick me, pick me!” was my first thought.

Because 80 years ago, Feldmarschall Keitel, Hitler’s court lackey, was wondering aloud the exact same thing while on the phone with the General commanding the German Army in the West, Von Rundstedt.

Two weeks before, on 6 June 1944, the Allies had put 200,000 troops on French soil, annihilating Hitler’s Festung Europa pipedream of turning the continent into a mighty fortress. Given the amount of materiel, ordnance, and manpower summoned and brought to bear by the Allied Command in the West, the German field command had understood that the war was lost.

The problem was that the regierung a.k.a. government in Berlin were not operating on facts. Hitler and his lapdog Keitel were under the impression that superior German armour would throw the Allies back into the Channel before long, and that the 3rd Reich would emerge victorious once again.

To quote OB West Generalfeldmarschall von Rundstedt’s words to ‘Papa’ Keitel, when the latter asked von Rundstedt “what shall we do about the Allied invasions in Normandy?”, Von Rundstedt replied:

“Make peace, you idiots!” “What else can you do?”

von Rundstedt’s reply to Keitel, during the phone conversation on 1 July 1944, 17h40.

Ukraine cannot win against Russia. The only way forward is to make peace. Anything else is condoning the mass-murder of people who need not die for their callous masters. These bastards are ready to sacrifice them without ever risking their own precious hides.

Most modern wars are a sham, a gimmick, and a racket. And the UKR war is no different. No principals were ever in harm’s way. None were ever inconvenienced, let alone affected by it.

But half a million souls or more are now missing from this Earth because of it. If that doesn’t give you pause, I don’t know what will.
