There’s eight billion of us on this blue planet of ours. Each and every one of us owes his/her existence to a bunch of other folks. The interdependencies are myriad. Cannot be counted. And yet not everyone of us is truly seized of this self-evident truth.
One does not exist in a vacuum. One lives and dies on the sufferance of one’s peers.
In order for one to exist, one must understand the rules of the game. The Game is called the Marketplace of Favours. And this is how it’s played.
He/she who plays well with others, gets to advance past Go. He/she who doesn’t play well with others, goes to Jail. It is a very clean-cut game. Not everybody is bright enough to understand it.
This is how the game is meant to be played. Doesn’t work any other way.
One must be kind and nice to others and hope that they have learned to like them for it. If one manages to endear oneself to the world, then one’s reputation precedes one’s pace.
So, go out and play, people, go out and play! What are you waiting for?
