Wall Street Gekko once said that greed is good.

Nothing could be further from the truth.
All things being equal, greed is the constraining factor of the human race.
If I was a betting man, I’d say greed is at the root of all evil.
Reality check
Greed, gluttony, and envy are how the Elites are controlling eight billion humans on this planet.

Because we might as well face it. The system is built on all our shoulders. We are the ones who buy into it. We underwrite its moral failure with our idiotic servitude.
The system works because we believe in it, we swear by it and we teach our children that there is no Other like It.
The System is our God Almighty.
That’s why we willingly slave away our entire life at the base of a pyramid. Because we hope to one day end up on top of it.

We all want to be the Predator on top of the food chain. No matter the risks, no matter how short our tenure at the top of the world may be, we want it! Doesn’t matter there’s a metric ton of Aliens coming at us, we still want to stay on top.
We are this stupid.
We do not realize the game is rigged and we are the ones to blame for our condition.
It’s not the Elites. It’s us. It’s the goddamn human condition. It’s us wanting more for us and our children. Never happy with what we have. Always wanting fracking more.
More food. More sex. More money. More happiness. More drink. More drugs. More time. More life.
But life is so sweet because it’s so short. Life ain’t a commodity. Because life is the grains of sand in an hourglass. Always trickling down.
Inexorably. Irrevocably. Irremediably.

Time is the most precious resource there is. And that’s why greed is not only stupid. It is pointless.
To quote Sagan: we all want to be the king, the emperor, the potentate of a fraction of a pixel of a dot. That dot is Earth. That’s our Only Home.
And Greed is ruining it.
