Five years ago I started this Blog to share my thoughts with the world.

It’s been quite the trip. It’s been more than a sharing experience.

For me and I hope, for many of you, it has been a journey of discovery.

As things go, I shared everything that I could with you, my readers.

I did that because I wanted to communicate with you and leave my mark on the spirit of my epoch.

As such, I borne all the costs associated with this Blog.

I come to you now in the same spirit of honesty, which animates my every move.

For the longest time, I have been pondering whether or not to monetize this Blogosphere.

Torn between my fiduciary duty towards the mounting operating costs of the Blog, and the knowledge that asking for money has not been my initial goal, I have postponed this day of reckoning for as long as I could.

I have decided to introduce a “Donate” button.

I hope my decision will convince you of the purity of my reasons.

I ask you not to donate if you are unable to. So many people struggle to make ends meet nowadays. I ask you instead to think about sparing that extra dollar, pound, euro, or any other currency, you are holding in your pocket.

And if you should consider my stories, my experiences, the lessons Life has taught me, worthy of your coin, then and only then I would appreciate your donation. But only if you can do so without prejudice to your bottomlines.
